Mango And Pomelo Dessert

Saw the photo of this Mango With Pomelo Dessert from the M4M website, so after searching for the recipe and get hold of some Mangoes. I decided to give it a try as well. It's pretty easy to prepare, just need to puree the mangoes and add in the rest of the ingredients then stir well and chilled up before serving. Thanks Jingle26 for sharing this wonderful summer dessert with us..... it's real very refreshing.

Ingredients:
600g Mango Flesh(about 3 medium mangoes)
300g Pomelo (removed seeds and skin, break them into tiny pieces)
400ml Mango Juice
½ Cup of evaporated milk
250ml water
100g sugar
Cornflour mixture (a Tablespoon of cornflour with 1 Tablespoon water - mixed well)

Methods:
1. Boil 250ml water and sugar till sugar dissolved, add in cornflour mixture and stir till the mixture is smooth. Set to cool.
2. Cut one of the mango from both sides, then cubed it.
3. Put the remaining mangoes in a blender with 250ml mango juice and liquefied it. Set aside.
4. When cornflour mixture is cooled, add in the mango puree, mango cubes, remaining mango juice, evaporated milk and lastly the pomelo.
5. Stir well and chilled.

Notes: For those who can get hold of pomelo, i suggest you can replace it with grapefruit. Posted by Picasa
