Steam Pork Mince With Salted Fish

I had always keen in learning how to steam a good and tasting Pork Minced With Salted Fish like those selling in the restaurants or foodcourt. Especially those in the "Zu Tong Fan" which is once in a hot trend. After some consult from those expert in cooking, I finally managed to come out something that taste good and easy to prepared. Actually the main trick will be the Quality and Amount of Salted Fished added as well as the texture of the minces.


Ingredients:
150g Pork Mince
50g Salted Fish, chopped into small pieces
1 Tube Silken Doufu
Some Spring Onion
Seasoning For Mince:
2 Teaspoons Of Water
1 Teaspoon Cornflour
1/2 Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Light Soy Sauce
Some Pepper & Sesame Oil

Methods:
1. Add the chopped salted fish into the marinate the pork mince and stir well the keep refridge for at least 30 minutes or more.
2. Before steaming, cut the doufu into about 1cm height cube then sprinkler some cornflour on it the top with some marinated pork mince.
3. Steam on Medium High heat for about 10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the meat.
4. When done, sprinkler some spring onion and serve hot. Posted by Picasa
